Happy New Year from the Desert

We wish you a brighter year than 2008. Here in the God Forsaken Desert (GFD), we celebrate 4 days of accident free dog living (you know). Doesn’t get any better than that, believe me.

Upcoming (real) GFD events:

--Poetry reading in the gravel pit
--Dog burn, meeting at the dump station. (We assume hot dogs. Maybe we should leave Clancy at home, just in case.)

So, from all of us to whoever has nothing better to do than read this blog, we leave you with our resolution in a thousand words for 2009.

From your GFD to our GFD (God-awful Flooded Domain) -- plenty of extra water up our way -- head to the ocean, I think there will be a visible rouge wave caused by mountain stream/river/lake/dam run off headed south down the coast! As of prox. 6PM Interstate 5 is closed through Chealis -- predicted to be a couple of days before it reopens. Sound familiar?
Hope you two are doing well, and the dog is ever so gently training you to adapt to him!
Sorry we missed your call the other day -- we will give you a try over the weekend.
