We arrived at the North Ranch Escapee Park in Congress AZ. It's a beautiful valley setting surrounded by hills, near Wickenburg, a western town with sufficient services, and just one hour from Phoenix. Very friendly people, like most SKP parks. During our stay, they hosted a wood workers symposium, and people flocked there for the classes. Next week, a similar beading gathering.
We wanted to consider making this our winter roost. However, the lots cost much money, with many of them having permanent dwellings on them. The visitors campground was a narrow gravel parking lot with utilities. So it did not fit our plans at all. Time to move on, tho we stayed there an extra day too due to high winds.
