Tubac, AZ

Today we toured Tubac in our truck, traveling touth from Tucson.  [G'wan, say it three times fast.]  We had an alliterative time.

Tubac offers an artsy/toursity district.  And a Border Patrol checkpoint heading north.

Here's an example of the local art.

But all this is an introduction to my main point.  See this sign?

All highway signs south of Tucson are marked in kilometers!  Not American miles!!  Even the interstates, as in United States!!!  Does Rush know about this?

Yet another sign (Ha ha!) of creeping Obama Socialism.  What's next?  Coca Cola by the liter??  Tea baggers by the gram?  Call the Pink House now and register your protest!!!!

I lived in Cincinnati where the signs on the interstate were given in kilometers way back in the 1970's. That was when there was a big push to go metric but few people did. The signage in Ohio hasn't changed as far as I know.

I have read a lot of different opinions on the internet of what people are blaming President Obama for - but I have to say this is probably the most ridiculous. LOL.

Nicely done.
