Today we departed the GFD, after 10 weeks of dry camping. For the uniformed, this meant
*10 weeks in the desert, sans electrical, water, or septic connections.
*10 weeks of constant dry wind.
*No rain or snow or cold winter weather, which more than justified the aforementioned conditions.
We arrived at an Escapees park in Casa Grande, AZ, intending a one night stay. Immediately fell in love with unlimited utilities and extended our stay another day. Aaah, hedonism.
From here, we travel on to Tucson, where we will likely remain for three days or so. We have read of several interesting attractions, so will have more to report.
Plus a visit to Costco! And Trader Joes!! Life is good!!!
