We are still looking at new RVs. Not to buy one...exactly. Since we live in our RV, and travel in our RV, we run the risk of crashing our RV. Instantly changing our status from "affluent homeless" to just "homeless." Which is not why we retired.
In such an event, we should already know what we want to buy for a new home. Similar to looking for a house, one must examine a lot of factors. Tho I don't remember considering the axle rating of any of our nine houses.
Jenna is in her element. I am in my withdrawal.
Jenna burns up her new laptop, looking at manufacturers' websites and studying the RVConsumer database. I walk the dog.
This month, we toured fifth wheels on dealer lots in Tucson. Had a brief infatuation with the Redwood line, till we decided it wasn't built well enough for year round living. We are now considering the Hitchhiker "Discover America" line. Twelve floor plans and a page of options - oy.
We want to see a new Excel too, to learn how much they have improved the quality of construction and features. Hard to find one with so few dealers. Biggest strike against Excel is the wood construction, which adds weight. The others have aluminum frames, thus weigh less.
I apologize to readers without RVs. I lost interest after paragraph #2.

Just a thought. Come up to Quartzsite, stay with us and look at RV's.
OOPS! Let's try this again.
We are always looking at RVs. We like the layout of the Seneca, but wish it had a bigger fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer.
